Living your best life is a matter of choice and living your best life in a Covid19 world is all about the choices you make to stay safe both physically and emotionally. You get to decide how you are going to respond to this crisis.
You can choose to be sensible about how much food you need to keep on hand, especially if the stores are not closing and we, here in New Zealand at least, produce enough food to keep us well-fed for a very long time.
You can choose to be sensible when our Governments tell us that it is time to self-isolate or shelter in place to prevent the spread of this disease.
Most importantly, you can choose how you are going to respond emotionally to all of this. How you ‘feel’ is something you can decide and we can all choose to make the best of this situation and use this time for something positive in our lives. Learn a new skill, start that home-based exercise regimen (or business), sign up for an online course, read that book you have been telling yourself that you will get to ‘one day’. Guess what! That day is here and you do have the time, so choose to face this with a positive attitude and a sense of gratitude that you are (hopefully) well and that you will get through this and maybe even come out the other side better off; physically, emotionally and practically. Choose to live your best life in a Covid19 world by making choices that support you and your family. Put yourself first – remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup (or champagne flute).
Stay safe and be well.
Be kind and share the love – from a safe distance! *winks*
